Tandoori Chicken
Tandoori Chicken is one kind of chicken curry. Various types of curries are prepared by chicken. Tandoori Chicken is one of them. Chicken curry is very nutritious and tasty recipe. Most of the people of the world choose chicken curry as well as Tandoori Chicken. Tandoori Chicken is a delicious recipe. The method of preparation of this recipe is given below;
Ingredients:
2×1 kg (2 lb) chickens,
1 cup natural yogurt,
1 tablespoon ground ginger,
1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric,
1/2 teaspoon chilli powder,
1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom,
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon,
1/4 teaspoon ground mace,
1/4 cup cooking oil,
1 teaspoon sugar (optional),
Egg-yellow food color,
Salt to taste.

Directions:
1. Cut each chicken into 4 pieces. Whisk the yogurt. Mix in the ground spices. Rub the chicken with the yogurt mixture. Marinate for 2-4 hours.
2. Heat oven at 1400C (3500F). Arrange the pieces of the chicken with gravy on a baking tray. Roast for 2 hours or until done, turning once. Baste with ghee or oil.

Serve hot with tandoori bread or parata and salad. 4-8 servings.
